Greg Dowd (19 March 1946 – 27 July 2002) was an Australian rules footballer who played senior football for the Footscray Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL), the competition that became the Australian Football League in 1990. He is one of several published Dowd carriers to make the senior grade of Australian rules football, a code whose origins overlap historically with Gaelic football and which carries a strong Irish-Australian following.
