3rd – 8th October 2028 · Enniscrone, Co. Sligo
The dates are set. The rooms are blocked. The deposits are paid. The planning begins now.
Every three years the O'Dubhda reconvenes in the homeland for a week of walking, talking, remembering, and welcome. The 2028 Homecoming will close Taoiseach Sean's three-year term and see the inauguration of his successor. Beyond the dates and the venue, the programme is still an open page — and that's where we'd like your help.
After many rallies anchored at the Ocean Sands, we're shaking things up. The 2028 Homecoming will be based at the Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone — a change of scene for a gathering that's about to mark three decades of clan reunions. The venue sits steps from the Atlantic, close to the O'Dubhda Castle, and within easy reach of the carns, abbeys, and estates at the heart of Tireragh and Tirawley.
A small committee is already mapping out the shape of the week — banquets, tours, talks, the council meeting, the inauguration rite, and the quieter rituals of welcome that make a rally feel like a rally. Full programme and registration will open in early 2028.
If you have an idea you'd like the committee to consider — a speaker, a site, a workshop, a tradition you'd like carried forward — or if you'd simply like to be kept in the loop as plans firm up, we'd love to hear from you.
