Donald Davy O’Dowd (born 23 January 1927) is an American academic and university administrator. A Dartmouth alumnus and Fulbright Scholar who took his PhD in social psychology at Harvard, O’Dowd was president and chancellor of Oakland University in Michigan and went on to serve as president of the University of Alaska System from 1984 to 1990.
