What happens next
Once your message arrives we acknowledge it within 24 hours and aim for a substantive reply within five working days.
The topic you choose on the form decides who reads it first:
- Membership — Membership Officer & Treasurer
- Governance & Council — the Tánaiste and Council

- Genealogy & family research — our research team
- Privacy / GDPR — the Data Protection contact
- General enquiries — routed to whoever can help
We retain enquiry messages for 90 days after the matter is closed, then delete them. If you’d like your message removed sooner, write back from the same address and we’ll handle it.
We process the information you submit through the contact form on the lawful bases of consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) when you choose to write to us, and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in administering the clan and replying to enquiries. Submissions are retained for 90 days after the matter is closed and then deleted.
